Where We Began
Established in 1876 by John and Charlie Pasek, the Pasek Security Company has been providing both mechanical and electronic physical security products to New England-based businesses without interruption for 150 years. Two succeeding generations of the Pasek family ran the business. In 1956, Lew Alessandrini went to work for PASEK. Lew worked for a cabinet shop next door to PASEK, was a frequent customer and built a strong relationship with Frank Pasek. In 1989, Lew purchased the business from the Pasek family marking the beginning of a new chapter at the business that would last for 30 years.

In 1976, Lew’s son David Alessandrini joined the company and was named President in 2015. As Lew approached retirement, he sought a new partner to lead PASEK into the future as he had done when he bought the business 30 year earlier. In 2019, PASEK joined the D.H. Pace Company family of Companies.
The combined business remains family-owned and privately-held with over $1 billion in annual sales from over 60 offices located across the nation dedicated to delivering a complete range of security systems, door and door-related products and services for the complete building life cycle – from construction through renovation and repair.

In 2026, Pasek is celebrating 150 years of continuous service to the New England marketplace. We are grateful for all of the customers and employees, both past and present, who made this longevity, growth, and success possible.
