PROBLEM
To comply with regulatory standards, a health system needed to implement ligature risk prevention measures in the behavioral health units of their facilities.
SOLUTION
DH Pace installed Top Door Alarm Systems at both the top and bottom of doors in behavioral health units. Top Door Alarm is a detection and notification system that identifies potential self-harm when a door frame has any pressure applied to it. As an additional precaution, they also installed ligature-resistant hardware.
